La Valentía Legacy Club

At La Valentía, our Wine Club is more than a membership—it’s an invitation to be a part of a new generation of Texas wine. Members enjoy first access to new wine releases along with invitations to our seasonal release parties and exclusive dinners with some of Texas’ most celebrated culinary partners, including Dai Due, LeRoy and Lewis Barbecue, Antonelli’s, Chef Jo Chan, and more. By joining, you’ll also be supporting female winemaker Rae Wilson in her mission to craft expressive, sustainable Texas wines that honor true terroir with minimal intervention.

As a La Valentía Legacy Club member, you will receive four special releases per year, occurring in March, June, October, and December. See our Events page for upcoming Release Parties and Dinners.

FAQ

If you choose to have your wine shipped, an adult signature is required and a business address is recommended. If you prefer to pick up your wine, you may do so at William Chris Vineyards. Any wine not claimed within 45 days of the date your credit card is charged will be shipped to the address on file. Credit cards will be securely stored in your member profile and charged on the processing date of each shipment. This charge, which occurs after you have received two e-mail reminders, is non-refundable.

We allow our members to skip up to 2 shipments in a 12-month period. If you would like to skip your release, please contact us by email or calling.

We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer to return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed.

We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all canceled orders.

All wine club cancellations MUST be made in writing 30 days prior to a wine club release. You will receive an e-mail reminder the month prior to your shipment prompting you to update your wine club information.

Given the limited quantities of wine set aside especially for our La Valentía Legacy members, we are unable to give refunds after wine club orders are processed.

Please e-mail info@lavalentiawine.com to confirm your cancellation.

Andrew Sides

Co-Founder, COO & Winegrower

A native of the Texas High Plains, ANDREW SIDES’ path in winemaking began while working at the family farm (vineyard) alongside Uncle Andy Timmons during his high school summer breaks. After earning his degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech, Andrew took a 9-5 job in San Antonio but couldn’t resist being pulled back toward the passion he’d cultivated for growing and making wine. In 2012, Andrew and Andy partnered with Troy Ottmers, Andrew’s father-in-law, to launch Lost Draw, a winery focused on growing and sharing wines from the Texas High Plains. Since then, the Lost Draw portfolio has expanded to feature wines from several other Texas AVAs and has captured the attention of local and national press along with many adoring fans.
